Business Trip to Antwerp

Early Morning: Schiphol to Antwerp

The flight from Seoul had landed early, and by 06h15, our 14 Korean business travelers were climbing aboard. Picking up some water offered onboard, they settled into the comfortable leather seats as our driver greeted them. “Good morning. We’ll have you in Antwerp by 9:30—plenty of time for your meeting.”

A smooth ride. By the time we crossed into Belgium, the group was awake, quietly reviewing notes on their tablets. We arrived at Antwerp Lillo.

At 09h45, we pulled up to the modern glass offices of their Belgian partners. “I’ll be here when you’re done,” our driver said. “Just call me.”

After the Meeting: Late Lunch

The meeting ran long, business always does, but by 14h30, the group emerged.

We drove into the city center, where the streets narrowed and the buildings grew older. The sprinter stopped near Plantinkaai, the group took a walk from there.

Afternoon: A Walk Through History

With full stomachs and relaxed smiles, the group was ready for a short museum tour before their hotel. We parked near the Museum aan de Stroom.

A few of them bought boxes of pralines to take home, while others lingered in a small bookstore, flipping through Flemish comics.

Evening: Hotel Drop-Off

By 19h00, the sun was dipping low, casting long shadows over the streets. Mark drove the group to their boutique hotel near the Meir.

“Early start tomorrow.”

Back to Schiphol

At 05h30, our driverwas already behind the wheel, the sprinter’s interior warm and ready. The Koreans filed out of the hotel, suitcases rolling, coffee cups in hand.

The ride back to Schiphol was quiet. By 07h30, we were at the departure drop-off. Another smooth trip.

Our Sprinter, parked in Antwerp old center.
